Ok, WOW. You don't know me and I have never commented before but I have to now. I have to confess: I read this blog in large part to keep getting a little dose of inspiration each day---- you make women like me feel like it is actually possible: a serious academic career AND a whole/healthy family life. You help me keep going. There just plain aren't many models of it out there. Thank you. And big big congratulations on tenure... so many, many, many years of work and b.s. and work and strategy (and did I say *WORK*) go into this. Those of us who know, KNOW. Enjoy the moment.
