Erin-- Yup! They are twists! I used to *love* to do twists in their hair. And after a full year of doing it (x2!) I was pretty good at it. And Ema/Michele-- The wall isn't that pink, somehow the photo distorts it. The shade of the floor is "bowtie pasta"! ;)
