love the guitar and maracas trio!
I'm working from home and the TV is on since 8am (a VERY unusual thing in our home), so we don't miss a second of this historic day.
Wooooo Hoooooo!!!

Awesome.
That is one moving video for this glorious day. I am a foster mom in Canada. I have cared for many children and the same love and care was given to all children (Black White or any background).
Your children are just georgeous and I want to say to your family.
Have a great Day while celebrating this day in the USA.

WOW. I'm crying watching this in my office! Your story is truly the personification of all that this day symbolizes and celebrates for us who believe in HOPE. It isn't just the black-white family with the happy children together but it is also the story of immigration from such an impoverished and devestated place like Haiti to a place of (now real and new and profound) possibility like the USA. It is amazing and this video should be shared!!!!! There are many many hurdles ahead, but today is a day to CELEBRATE especially stories like yours! People who push ahead really do sometimes get somewhere!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for making my day.
Love and Hugs,

I'm in tears but I guess it's just been that kind of day:-)
Lovely! Congratulations, America!
So very adorable. :-) I am wondering, where did you find that version (or is it versions?) of This Land Is Your Land? I love all the different singers.
Beautiful video!! I had tears in my eyes- your family is gorgeous. I love how serious the boys look playing guitar - you can tell they are very proud of their skills!
Heather, I am in tears watching this video. I love love love your story! My oldest son and I went to Haiti last May on a mission trip. It was heartbreaking yet so wonderful to see how strong the haitians faith is. We spent 4 days in an orphange...I left my heart there. Owen and Kyle are so lucky!!! I look forward to keeping up with your blog and this wonderful journey you have immersed yourselves in.
Thankyou! *sniffles*
