We are back from a 10-day vacation. Just got back, very late Tuesday night (very late!). It will take me forever to sort through all the 736 photos we took (yes, 736... are we snap happy or what?!)... and I know my mom wants photos! ;) So, to appease my mom, and to prolong my blog hiatus just a little longer (I'm not feeling ready to start real blogging again quite yet)... here's the game---

Over the next few days, while I'm sorting through the photos, I'll post some here. You gotta guess where we were.

Just 1 hint: we were in one country the whole time, but spent the first part of the trip in one place and the second part in another. Can you guess where we were?!

Wild guess here - first photo, of Meera gleefully eating sand and the boys building sand mountains... I am going to say... Ft. Lauderdale area - maybe, Stuart/Palm City... Beach is wide, its obviously warm and sunny, water is pretty, fun stuff has washed ashore to play with/terrorize parents with... Second photo, boys posing in front of a pool and blowing palm trees - water VERY tropical..#3 Meera looking stylish in her shades sippin' on some water... its hot... so... One of the Keys?
Looks like you guys had a great time and BEAUTIFUL WEATHER! Man, I want a tropical vacation one of these days! Cant wait to see some more pictures of your adorable kids and here about your adventures on vacation!!

I spotted a clue in the pics that makes me think it's a Spanish-speaking place. My guess: the Dominican Republic! (Big enough to spend part in one place, then on to another...)

From your past vacations I think you were in Florida. So I vote east coast of Florida (sand is not white enough for the west coast) and then from Gail's comment above I guess the other place must have been Disneyworld in Orlando.

I'm guessing Haiti, and that you are showing them the good parts of Haiti and leaving the more difficult parts for when they are older and can better understand everything.
