Hi Heather,
I discovered your blog a week ago and look forward to checking in almost every day. My husband and I are in the process of adopting a precious girl from Burkina Faso, Africa (if all goes well we will be going in January to bring her home). As you know, waiting for the moment when we will all finally become a family can be very trying, it seems like that day will never arrive. But your words, your humor, the pictures - all of it - lighten my load and I just want to thank you for that. I read your blog out loud to my husband (he's Italian, we live in Italy) about your family and we laugh and get teary-eyed together and it helps so much because we imagine that soon we will be having the glorious experience of parenthood, too. Thank you, Heather, for the joy you express in being a mother. I wish we were neighbors! Your blog is a gift!
