Heather,
Thank you. Sometimes in the midst of trying to get all these kids where they need to go, I forget. Last week I asked Manny, "who loves Manny?" "Mama!" he said. "That's right, who else?" "Daddy!" And then he listed through the whole family, laughing after every name, "Jessica! Manny! Virlande! Erica! Grandma! Christina! Lolly! Clifford! Christina! Indy!" I took so much joy in listening to my baby boy name his Love List so confidently, and yet he has only been home for 3.5 months, and before that, no one loved him, or at least no one that he knew about. My baby, and yours, born all in the same month of the same year, in the city literally built on garbage, and yet they are so perfect, so heaven sent, so God-given that he/they take my breath away every day. You are right. Home heals. Thank you, my sister-friend. Love, Corey

What a beautiful, beautiful video. I was so touched throughout the entire thing, but especially so near the very end, when Braydon is in the water with one of the boys, and he (the boy-- Kyle? Owen?) is taking so much delight in the experience and, seemingly, in his own buoyancy. After his tough early childhood, that he could still trust enough --trust Braydon, trust the water, trust himself-- to let go, bob up and down, and believe that Braydon would be there for him when he surfaced again was just so incredibly moving to me. Buoyant, indeed, and in more ways than one. What a long road they've traveled, and what a gift for you all that you are now together!

Much love, Karen
