Love it. Thanks for sharing. May I ask how you got through the adoption process so quickly? Was it just moving faster then? We've been in the process for over 2 years and our son is 10 and not home yet.

I got to your blog from Malia's Mom... So cute and I love reading about you guys and your beautiful sons!

I was going to ask what kind of camera you have? You take awesome pictures!

Happy Anniversary!

I'm de-lurking after pouring over your blog for several weeks. I love reading about your family! :) Thanks so much for sharing your life with all of us!

We have a lot in common -- I'm also a professional working mom. My husband and I are white parents to a domestically adopted AA-Hispanic toddler boy and we believe in shared parenting. We're considering adopting from Haiti for #2. My name is even "Heather"!

I'm actually an adoption attorney, and have been amazed at the fact that you brought your boys home at 8 months. Like Amy, I'd love to learn more about how you got them home so fast!

Thanks again for sharing your beautiful, fun life with us!

Folks, I didn't realize I've never posted about how we got the boys home 'so fast'... I will post a real post about that soon. Keep checking back for it, O.k.?
:)

P.S. The camera we are currently using is a Canon Powershot G7.

My favorites are connected to each other:
"Kyle Shars a Memory" from July 13 & "Trauma and Healingin Adoption" from August 15

Ha - I now see how ridiculous my first post sounds! I'm sure that every day during those 8 months without your sweet boys seemed like an eternity! It's crazy that that's now considered "fast."

It's all relative, isn't it?

In any event, I can't wait to hear more!

What an amazing journey! I love, love, love reading about your family adventures. Thank you for sharing your story and your happy, joyful boys with the rest of us.

My favorite posts are the the conversations between K&O. These provide a glimpse into what goes on in those little heads.

Congrats on your "bloggoversary"
:)
