How do you spell "athlete"? K & O amaze me. I love athletics and went to college on a full athletic scholarship but what I love about your family is that you celebrate a full-rounded life. You can be a super athlete and a super student and/or a super artist and/or a...Keep on inspiring us, Heather & Braydon! Oh, and Meera wants in on that fun already, doesn't she?
I have been a lurker for a long time but never commented. But I have to on this video!!!!!!!! OMG. Seriously. I work at an inner-city daycare center in Kansas City. We've got urban kids here, lots of them with serious muscle and attitude and lots of potential. But NEVER have I seen a 4 year old who can do anything even close to this. I just cannot beleive that K & O can do what they do. They've never had trampoline lessons right? They just do this on their own? Is this normal??? Does anyone out there know if this is normal??????? Please comment! I really want to know- has anyone out there seen anything like this? I'm showing this to my colleagues and nobody can believe they are only 4. Carlina in Kansas City
haha this is adorable. everyone in my house spends lots of time on the trampoline too!! Aaron's the same age and my Mom is always yelling at him not to do backflips (for some reason front flips are okay with her??)
I love you guys. I have been a fan of your blog since I found it through the Livesay blog. I'm a adoptive mom of 2 energetic african-american children and 4 energetic bio boys. I do have to tell you my very athletic 16 yo diver/swimmer fractured his cervical spine on Friday. He was playing on a trampoline doing front flips and lost his footing. Just beware as they become stronger the chance of injury grows. We are very lucky that he will recover but it's a long road ahead of him.
I imagine you have already figured out they are going to be professional athletes of some kind - or at least on the varsity teams where ever they go to College. You are such smart parents to nourish this ability. Congratulations!
~ PARTY OF FIVE ~ The Johnson-McCormick Family Blog
About Our Blog
The Johnson-McCormick Family Blog is a blog spot for sharing the scoop on our little family's big life! We are Heather, Braydon, Kyle, Owen, and Meera Johnson-McCormick. Kyle and Owen are twins- born May 8, 2004 in Cite Soleil, Port au Prince, Haiti- adopted January 31, 2005. We became a "Party of 5" when Meera Grace was born to us on May 28, 2008. We have a crazy, fun-filled life with 3 bambinos and 2 big careers all under 1 roof - The point of this blog is three-fold: 1) to keep friends and family posted on K, O, and M's goings on's and our life, 2) to create an historical document/journal/scrapbook of this wild ride, 3) to be out there in the blogosphere -- loud and proud -- doing what we can to support other adoptive/inter-racial families and dual-career families in their journeys. Thanks for reading and following along! As Kyle and Owen say, "It's a bumpy bumpy ride!"(in a good way!).

This is AWESOME!!! I love that they take turns and watch each other. It's too great.
I am exhausted just watching the video. And I think if Meera had her way, she would be in there with them ;)
Remember that trampoline is now an Olympic sport!
Do they get tired from this?
the boys are not messing around! they are pros at that whole jumping thing. super cute video.
umm, meera is getting bigger by the second. as always, i could eat her up. i cannot wait to stock up on loves from all three of them!!!!!!

What fun they were having. I want to jump right in too. Although just watching them made me tired.
Meera was too sweet. She was just a trying to hop right in too.

They look so big!! I used to teach 4 year olds gymnastics. These guys knock any kids I've ever seen out of the water.
