Someday we'll all gather together, drinking eggnog and nibbling on gingerbread cookies, with Christmas music playing, bonding together as we happily perform the yearly ritual of putting up our beloved Christmas tree. We'll oooh and ahhh together over all of our sentimental ornaments. We'll reminisce about Christmases past and dream together about Christmases future. When the tree is up and the empty ornament boxes are back in the basement we'll sit quietly together in the glow of the lights, admiring our handiwork, and enjoying the moment. Until then...
Back to reality...
With two crazy four year olds and a six month old...
We consider it a major achievement that the tree is up.
We'll leave it at that.

Since our tree is still in the backyard, waiting for time to bring it in and adorn it, maybe I can warm up some eggnog and sit by the light of your tree on the computer :) It's beautiful!

Too funny! Ours is going up today... two three year olds and a four month old...
What? A tree? No, we haven't done that yet! Not since bringing the girls home.......maybe next year... sigh.

Our house has 1 crazy 4 year old and 2 crazy 1.5 year olds. The major achievement here is that the tree hasn't been knocked over or pulled down yet. Pretty pretty tree. I'd also like to know where you got your star. It's beautful. I've been through 4 toppers and haven't found one that I love yet. Wishing your family a joyous and blessed Christmas!!
