Heather, I am so very glad Saul just walked out of the room, that all I need that silly boy to do (climb the walls....)Aren't boys wonderful? Rose Anne
Shannon C said exactly what was on my mind! Each time I see one of these kind of posts I tell myself, "This is what I have to look forward to!" Our boys just keep blossoming and coming out of their shells... the noise level has increased exponentially since they've been home (9 months now!) and each week brings new craziness! Thanks for giving me a glimpse of my future!
wow!! they are soo strong - i dont think i could ever come close to doing this as a kid!! is there a rock climbing gym in your area? many of them offer classes for kids!
Good God. My brother used to do that as a kid, but not at FIVE! Your boys are awesome! Emmers is right. They need to get into gymnastics and/or rock climbing right away!

Is Kyle actually jumping from one side of the doorway to another??? That's amazing, but, whoa. I wouldn't be surprised to come in and find them levitating, next.
Hi Heather, Your kids are adorable! I've been hanging around reading for a while, but I'm not sure if I ever commented before. I'm not sure if you watch this show, or if anyone has told you about it, but on the show "So You Think You Can Dance" there is a contestant, Vitolio, who grew up in an orphange in Hati. He is an excellent dancer and I thought you might be interested. Hope you guys have a great summer!!
Honestly, now that it's mentioned, I think it IS innately Haitian. I see soooo many kids and young men jumping craaazy high to catch branches, get across ditches, hook a ride on a passing truck etc, and compete with each other in agility. :)
~ PARTY OF FIVE ~ The Johnson-McCormick Family Blog
About Our Blog
The Johnson-McCormick Family Blog is a blog spot for sharing the scoop on our little family's big life! We are Heather, Braydon, Kyle, Owen, and Meera Johnson-McCormick. Kyle and Owen are twins- born May 8, 2004 in Cite Soleil, Port au Prince, Haiti- adopted January 31, 2005. We became a "Party of 5" when Meera Grace was born to us on May 28, 2008. We have a crazy, fun-filled life with 3 bambinos and 2 big careers all under 1 roof - The point of this blog is three-fold: 1) to keep friends and family posted on K, O, and M's goings on's and our life, 2) to create an historical document/journal/scrapbook of this wild ride, 3) to be out there in the blogosphere -- loud and proud -- doing what we can to support other adoptive/inter-racial families and dual-career families in their journeys. Thanks for reading and following along! As Kyle and Owen say, "It's a bumpy bumpy ride!"(in a good way!).
