No baby.
We have an OB appointment today, so we'll see. It's only two days until it's 42 weeks.
Poor Heather is in a state of misery. She is beyond ready for the baby to be here. We all are, but she is the one with the baby in her belly and no control over getting this show on the road.

I didn't see it in your list of advice, but "stripping the membranes" is a possibility at this appointment. I have heard it's painful and useless, and (otoh) I have heard it started labor -- so who knows.
Best of luck, no matter what and when.
Well, my prayer today will be that the doctor has the wisdom to combine what is medically necessary with what Heather's wishes are. Good luck!
We are thinking of you guys!!!
We are thinking of you guys!!!
ok so I know you are probably sick of advice but yeah it is worth a try instead of being induced - I have had my membranes "stripped" 2 times and both times went into labor- 1st time with in 4 hours and 2nd time with in 2 hours it is uncomfortable but affective. Keeping my fingers crossed! and next time I check this blog their will be an announcement!!!!
Definitely ask your doc to strip your membranes or rim your cervix, same thing. It can help !
I know you must be going crazy with anticipation - all of you!! I won't give you any advice - just a prayer that all works out fine and that everyone is happy and comfortable ASAP!
I have a friend who's a dula. She said "unofficailly"... Castor oil will do the trick. It worked for my sister. You may get the runs, or stong contractions, but it works.
Blessings,
Jennifer
good luck today - hope she decides to show up soon!
No advice. Here is another humorous tidbit from my period one jokemeisters:
What do you call a psychic little person who has escaped from prison?
A small medium at large.
I can hear the snickers all the way over here in SoCal.
I'm sure they will induce today or tomorrow if the baby doesnt come on it's own. God Heather I am SOOOOOO sorry :( I had my daugther on April 13, so I feel your misery
Poor Heather. :(
