11 days. Oh my... Kyle and Owen must really think, she will never get here! But clearly, she will be here this week. She simply has to, as so many people are waiting for her! Katja
I'm sure she's really comfortable! (And probably trying to distance her birthday from K and O's - to ensure a girly celebration of her own) I love your blog, thank you for sharing. Kate (Fellow AP of Alice from China) checking in while on holiday!
~Smiles~ I have been a big fan of your blog for about a year as I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. I had my first child a girl in 1993 in Greensburg, PA and let me tell you she wanted to stay in forever. She was supposed to be born on July 4th, but came on July 19th. I can't wait to hear that the four of you have a new little one in the family. You all have so many people pulling for you and anticipating her arrival. God Bless all of you and can't wait to finally hear that she has arrived.
I haven't been able to get internet the last day due to being on vacation.. and when I clicked on here I was hoping to see her beautiful face... Guess she wants us ALL to wait for wonderful entrance... Hope you are feeling okay.. HUGS..
No way! I was offline over the weekend, which broke my manic habit of repeatedly checking here for an update. And now, rather than getting a birth announcement, I'll have to resume my compulsive checking.
It is all about me, isn't it? Just kidding of course. Hope you're doing OK Heather!
My sister's baby boy was born 2 1/2 weeks late and only weighed 6 lb 8 oz. He needed that extra "cooking time." Don't despair. She'll come when she is ready. I sure hope for your sake that she comes soon!
~ PARTY OF FIVE ~ The Johnson-McCormick Family Blog
About Our Blog
The Johnson-McCormick Family Blog is a blog spot for sharing the scoop on our little family's big life! We are Heather, Braydon, Kyle, Owen, and Meera Johnson-McCormick. Kyle and Owen are twins- born May 8, 2004 in Cite Soleil, Port au Prince, Haiti- adopted January 31, 2005. We became a "Party of 5" when Meera Grace was born to us on May 28, 2008. We have a crazy, fun-filled life with 3 bambinos and 2 big careers all under 1 roof - The point of this blog is three-fold: 1) to keep friends and family posted on K, O, and M's goings on's and our life, 2) to create an historical document/journal/scrapbook of this wild ride, 3) to be out there in the blogosphere -- loud and proud -- doing what we can to support other adoptive/inter-racial families and dual-career families in their journeys. Thanks for reading and following along! As Kyle and Owen say, "It's a bumpy bumpy ride!"(in a good way!).
